My thoughts surrounding what is unnatural were expressed during the presentation where I proposed this project.

The natural describes that which exists.

The supernatural describes everything that cannot exist.

The unnatural describes what can be made to exist.

This makes, has made and does make sense to me - all at the same time, which is a very confusing feeling.

In order to try and make sense of this, I have spoken to people, telling them about this idea/riddle. Recently, I asked a friend this question:

"What is an unnatural landscape?"

"Concrete next to the grass"

"Ah, because the grass is natural and concrete is man-made?"

"Yes."

"But arent we natural? "

"I suppose we are."

"Then isn't everything that we create natural?"

"It depends..."

"If something exists in this universe then it has to be natural because the universe is natural, right?"

"So, there is no such thing as unnatural?" he asked me.

Objects have a physical nature. This physical nature describes very specific properties about the object - mass, molecular makeup, shape, size. If something contradicts its own nature, acting unnaturally, then it is not what it is.

If something isn't what it is, then it can't be.

It can't exist as something that is unnatural.
